Why do I have to change to the Sage Pay payment URLs?

Over the years and as a result of new protocol versions, the ‘Payment URLs’ have changed. At present Sage Pay accepts traffic being sent to the OLD Payment URL’s however this will not be the case forever. In September, we plan to cease supporting these URL’s and it is therefore really important that you make sure your integrations are using the latest URL’s to ensure there is no disruption to your payment processing.

There are benefits too. By switching to the Sage Pay URLs you will benefit from:

• Speedier payment processing

• The most up-to-date security measures

Plus, if you update to the latest version of the Sage Pay Protocol, you can also benefit from future product features such as:

• Tokenisation of payments

• Reporting and Admin API

• The latest version of our PayPal integration

• Enhanced payment processing for you and your customers

Don't forget, it's really important that you make these changes as soon as possible — after 30th September it won't be possible to process online payments using the old Protx URLs.
