Performing a refund within Sage 200
We recommend that you perform all refunds from within Sage 200. This ensures that you Sage 200 and Sage Payment Solutions details are always up-to-date.
In the Sales Ledger module, select Adjust Transactions > Refund Online Card Receipt.al fee and no monthly minimum volumes.
Select whether you are refunding a sales ledger receipt or a receipt taken with a sales order. A list of transactions will then be displayed.
Choose the transaction that you want to refund from the list and then click Refund.
You can then refund the money back to the customer’s card.
What are the limitations of performing a refund?
A refund uses the same card details as the original transaction so you will not be able to refund:
- If the card has expired. If you have been provided with another card.
- If the authorisation was not taken via the Protx system.
