Token System is a safe way of keeping card details without actually storing them. We store and convert your customer's sensitive payment information into a secure token or "alias".
This gives you the flexibility to process transactions as and when required, without compromising on card data security.

Getting started with Token System
Token System works with our online payment gateway. It's available to use with either the Server integration or Direct integration options.
If you're new to Sage Pay:
- Have your merchant ID handy – or we can set one up for you when you apply.
- Email us to sign up or call us on 0845 111 44 66.
- We’ll notify you when your account is ready and send you set-up instructions.
What if I already have a Sage Pay account?
We can easily enable the token system on your account if you're using either Server or Direct integration.
You may need to make changes to your website checkout process, depending on how you want to use the Token System.
